    This is such a huge disrespect and non- commitment to work as well as customers. I have myself worked in retail and sales to say how important customer service is. It almost seemed like none was trying their best. Such a huge disappointment. Harvey Norman such a shame! unfortunately, this is my last visit.

    I will also add that usually I'd shop elsewhere for my electronic goods, but due to this great experience I'll be down here a lot more often in future (and already have).

    Like I said, best customer service I've ever experienced. Would have been very easy to say a polite 'have a nice day' and us walk off, but Moses genuinely wanted to help, even though we weren't even buying anything from the store.

    He fired up the laptop in store to make sure none of the files had been lost, gave us a free USB to copy a backup on to just in case. He then said that we could borrow the charger overnight so she could get her work done!

    We went down to Harvey's Norman Caringbah to buy her a charger, but was advised by a sales person that they didn't stock this type. As my wife stormed out of the shop, the store manager Moses saw the distress on my wife's face and asked if there was anything they could help with...she said quite abruptly 'no there's nothing you can help with' and kept walking, expecting to have to drive to the city to pick up her charger.

    I stopped and explained the situation (and apologised on my wife's behalf for being a little rude). Without hesitation Moses invited my wife back in to the store & insisted there was something they could do. He got his staff looking at all the display laptops to find a charger that would fit, and eventually they found the only one in the store.

    Terrible service from in store to delivery. Was missing an item on delivery day and they claimed I already picked it up. Later realised they made a mistake but I had to drive all the way down there to pick it up myself. Delivery drivers have limited vocabulary. “No” is this only word in his dictionary. Dropped the mattress on the ground and refused to do anything else. Even refused to take my payment and I had to call up the store myself. Definitely not up to the standards of other Harvey Norman stores where drivers helped with unpacking and moving, not to mention being able to pay via a mobile eftpos terminal the other drivers had.

    I went to buy a washing machine and found Samsung 7.5 kg (Model: WWW75K5210WW) $929, with bubble wash system including 2 years warranty. I was about to finalise that, and I noticed a sticker on the machine saying "We beat lowest price all over Australia." I figured I could give this a go and checked online in other stores. I found a same item at GoodGuys for $685. I showed the Staff at the store and he said he could only do it for $695. I did check with the Good Guys by calling them and they said they had it in their stock. I argued with the guy at Harvey Norman saying " Why you put the sticker on the machine, if you can't even do it?" He said he couldn't do much and he spoke to his Store manager, Andrew. I went to the Store Manager and tried to explain the things to him. He told me " I am on the phone right now, give me 5 minutes"..and was stuck to the phone for more than half an hour, without even trying to find someone to help me.

    My wife had recently received a new laptop through her work and the first time she brought it home she'd left the charger at work. She was working away trying to get some urgent documents ready for the next day when the battery went flat quicker than expected. To make things worse, the IT department from my wife's workplace advised that the files might have been lost and she'd need to start again. This was on a Sunday at 4pm.

    Worst customer service ever. Bought a washing machine 5 weeks ago with delivery and 6kilo of omo. No omo arrived. Manager wont return calls. Hopefully consumer affairs can sort something out. Never shopping there again.
